Anti-Aging Tanning Routine

For fewer wrinkles and a hydrated face with a subtle, brown complexion.

Step 1: Mix the tanning drops with the Ray Anti-Aging Face Cream in your hands. The dosage is easy to adjust for a more intense or more subtle colour:

  • 2-3 drops: light tan
  • 4-5 drops: medium tan
  • 6+ drops: intense tan

Step 2: Apply evenly to your face.

Step 3: Wash your hands.

After just a few hours, you will see the result that lasts 2 to 5 days.

For the best results, avoid using scrubs or fruit acid peels for a few days before applying the self-tanning drops.

Made with active ingredients of natural origin. Suitable for all skin types, including the most sensitive skin.

Tridecapeptide-1 — Stimulates collagen production for a visible reduction in wrinkles. The skin appears tighter and smoother, with results noticeable after 15 minutes and over the long term.

Arginine PCA — Protects collagen and elastin from glycation and oxidation, for firmer and more supple skin.

Hyaluronic acid with a low molecular weight — Penetrates deeply into the skin and intensely hydrates from within. Reduces wrinkles, fine lines, and improves skin elasticity.

Hyaluronic acid with a high molecular weight — Forms a moisture-retaining layer on the skin, ensuring it stays hydrated immediately and is protected against moisture loss.

Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) and erythrulose — Self-tanners that react with substances from the dead skin cells in your top layer of skin. They turn the top dead layer of skin brown. This is a skin and body-friendly reaction.

This routine contains 0% perfume.

I have been using it for about 5 weeks now and unfortunately, no noticeable difference. Too bad!

Interesting way to use a self-tanner. It is not completely odorless, but it is not bothersome like many self-tanners often are. Dispensing is not always easy (a dropper might be easier). Creates a subtle color that can be built up as desired. Is not 'yellow' like some self-tanners are. Great product!

It gives you a nice tan, but after using it a few times, it settles on my pigment spots, which become accentuated as a result. I won't be using it anymore. Good for younger skin, but not for older skin.

FAQ

Yes, the tanning drops are safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

They are carefully formulated with only safe, natural ingredients. The active ingredients dihydroxyacetone and erythrulose only color dead skin cells.

All Ray ingredients are free from hormone-disrupting, carcinogenic, mutagenic, or immunity-disrupting properties.

Yes, you can definitely use the tanning drops if you have vitiligo. Self-tanning ingredients were originally developed for people with vitiligo.

Our customers apply the drops locally to lighter areas, which helps soften the contrast with the surrounding skin.

A useful method is to mix the drops in your palm with day & night cream and apply evenly with a makeup brush to the desired areas, such as the face or hands. This allows you to apply the product precisely and gently, for a natural result.

No, the tanning drops work by coloring the dead skin cells in the top layer of your skin, giving you a naturally tanned complexion. That’s why it’s important not to exfoliate right before applying, as this removes those cells and reduces the result.

If you like to use a scrub or fruit acid peel in your routine, we recommend waiting at least 24 hours before applying the tanning drops.

It is a deliberate choice not to include SPF in our day creams. A day cream with SPF can easily give the impression that your skin is protected all day, while in reality this is not the case.

According to the recommendations of the Health Council, sun protection should be reapplied every two hours when exposed to the sun, because the effectiveness of the sunscreen filter decreases over time.

So, a sunscreen applied at 8 a.m. will provide little to no protection by 10 a.m.

No, our anti-aging products deliberately do not contain collagen but do include ingredients that stimulate collagen production.

Collagen is a molecule that is too large to penetrate the skin and reach the right place within it. It therefore remains on the surface of the skin and cannot provide a firming effect.

Instead, we choose active ingredients such as peptides and vitamin C. These stimulate your skin’s natural collagen production, helping it become firmer and smoother.
