After 1-2 applications, it gives a very natural, light glow. For me, this is enough to go outside with bare legs full of confidence at the first rays of sunshine (I might do it more often in the summer for a slightly darker glow, because I am really very satisfied with the result! Especially now that I notice it leaves very streaks or patches if you spread it out well).
