Both the peeling serum and the face scrub help to create a fresher, smoother complexion, but they work in different ways.
The face scrub exfoliates the skin with fine particles that you massage in by hand, giving an instant fresh and smooth feeling. The face scrub also contains a cleanser, which gently cleanses the skin at the same time.
The peeling serum is an exfoliant based on mandelic acid that gently loosens dead skin cells without scrubbing. You apply the serum only in the evening and rinse it off in the morning.
For most skin types, exfoliating 2 to 3 times per week is enough. Do you have dry skin? Then once a week is often sufficient.
Exfoliating too often can weaken your skin barrier and cause redness, dryness, or irritation. So listen to your skin and adjust your routine based on what it needs.
With rosacea, the skin is extra sensitive, which is why we usually recommend a non-manual exfoliant, such as the peeling serum.
A face scrub stimulates blood circulation, which is best avoided for rosacea- or couperose-prone skin.
