Unlike an antiperspirant, Ray's deodorant does not clog the skin's pores. Yet your armpits remain dry, as the sweat is absorbed by rice starch. The sage then prevents excessive sweating.

Only healthy ingredients are used in the formulation of the deodorant. Ingredients such as aluminum or triclosan, which may be carcinogenic or endocrine disrupting, are avoided.
